Ocala Speedway Rained Out for May 28th, Friday

OCALA, FL- Afternoon thunderstorms teased and taunted the track crew at Ocala Speedway today, then finally closed in and drenched the track, making racing impossible for tonight. Ocala Speedway will be back in action on Friday, June 4th, with the 15th Annual Powell Memorial Race, the most prestigious and important Late Model race in the region! The Powell Memorial will feature the Sunoco United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, and will pay $5000 to the winner of the 75 lap event. Also racing with the late models will be Ocala Speedway’s Amsoil Synthetic Lubricants V8 Thunder Stocks, the Mini Stocks, and there will be a Colortyme plasma flat screen raffle as well!
