All Star Circuit of Champions Are Ready to See Who Will be Kasey’s King of Bulls Gap

Camargo, IL (3-18-10) by Kelly Brown  Public Relations Director

This weekend the teams and drivers of the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions will be shaking the dust off their equipment and will be heading to Volunteer Speedway for the Kaseys King of Bulls Gap presented by Budweiser event. Friday and Saturday night the All Stars will be facing off against the World of Outlaws in this co-sanctioned event promoted by NASCAR star Kasey Kahne.

The last time the All Stars ran at the high banked 4/10-mile track was in 1998. Frankie Kerr won the event and Indy Car racer Sarah Fisher started from the pole position and finished fifth. The All Stars also raced at the Bulls Gap, Tennessee track in 1993 when Joey Saldana celebrated in Victory Lane.

This weekend promises to be another thrilling event for the All Stars as
they take on the Outlaws. The last time the series was in action was during Florida Winter Nationals. So far in 2010, there has not been a repeat winner in All Star competition. Could that change this weekend?

Will we see another showdown where an Outlaw and All Star takes it down to the last lap to decide the winner? To find out you will have to buy a ticket or listen live on www.dirtvision.com.

On Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20 at Volunteer Speedway, general admission tickets for adults will be $29 if purchased in advance and $35 the day of the race, with general admission tickets for youth (ages 11-15) $15, with children 10-under admitted free of charge in the general admission section. Reserved tickets will be $29 if purchased in advance and $35 the day of the race. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 704-795-7223 or online at

The daily schedule for Friday and Saturday will be as follows: 1 p.m.  Pit gate opens. 5 p.m.  Spectator gates open. 6 p.m.  Hot laps followed by Time Trials. 7:30 p.m.  Racing.
