North Florida Speedway Welcomes NASCAR Veteran, Ken Schrader

Lake City, FL. November 12, 2009: The North Florida Speedway announced today that NASCAR legend, Ken Schrader will be joining their racing program, slated for Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Lake City, Florida. Track owners, Phil and Liz Guadagno said there is much excitement over the pending visit by the VIP racing legend, and look forward to the competition generated by Mr. Schrader and local driving champions.
Driving the #9 Open-Wheeled-Modified, Ken Schrader will be running against such local legends as Donnie Hall, Ronnie Chance and Mark Padgett among others. Local anticipation will intensify the already heated battle in what is building up to be one of the premiere racing events of the year. One informed source is quoted as saying, “North Florida Speedway always puts on a great show and attracts most of the top dirt racing talents in the Southeastern United States. But having Ken Schrader rubbing elbows with some of our local talent would be like endorsing the notion that North Florida Speedway has come of age and is recognized as one of the best dirt racing facilities available anywhere!”
Another track regular stated the point leaders of the Open Wheeled Modified division are no “pushovers” and will definitely provide some intensely exciting racing action as these power-houses roar to life. North Florida Speedway is a three-eighths mile oval, dirt track located at 287 SE Race Track Ln. off of Hwy 41. Pit Gates will open at 3:00 pm with grandstands opening at 5:00 p.m. Racing starts at 6:00 pm. Grandstand prices are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children, with pit pass prices set at $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for children.
